Works very poorly
Mac usuario
Hardly ever works as intended. Almost never fills the login fields unaided. Most of the time I have to open the browser app, search for the website, and copy each credential separately and paste them in to each field. Each time you copy, the extension closes, so you have to keep opening it and searching the credential. Talking to support about this is a freaking joke. They will not look into anything and they make you do all the work of making a video of each and every failure. They are completely unwilling to address the problems as a whole or acknowledge that there are systemic issues. On iPhone, same thing; it virtually never fills password logins for you. The best think it can serve as is simply a set of notes/ database of your password...Mostrar más

Don't like it at all
Windows usuario
Barely functional and erratic. Saves more than one password per site in many cases. The worst is that for some sites (like Amazon.ae) I literally have to disable the extension in order to order products - because 1) Dashlane, for example, automatically puts my email address in the promotion code area, and 2) The data entry for say my CVV number won't work, and won't even work when I enter the number manually. The ONLY way to order from amazon, therefore, is to disable dashlane. Not the only example of this.

So flimsy
Windows usuario
Dashlane is good at generating passwords. However, the overall application is terrible. Crashing, feels flimsy and really low-budget overall. So many features are missing. It's messing up password saving. It's messing up autofill and overwriting passwords for other domains. We used it for over a year at my company, but then everyone were so fed up with it it had to go.

Dashlane website hang up
iOS usuario
Had for 6+ years. Changed password and their website hung up. I did everything in the recommended solutions to no avail. Opened a ticket & response was to do what I already completed and they closed the ticket. Opened a 2nd ticket and finally got Andrew to respond. He offered a solution which did not work. I responded and they have vanished. Customer Support appears to be to get rid of you without solving the problem. Their website hung up; nothing I did yet they have no apparent concern to assist in solving it.

Sharing/Syncing Sucks
Windows usuario
Dashlane has been "ok". I say OK only b/c this is a MISSION CRITICAL product and they are kind of flaky with development. I use this with my spouse and we share a ALL passwords. But when one of us updates a password for security reasons, it doesn't sync between shared users. How frustrating is that?
Plus, I saw a button on the Password Health and it said it would update all my passwords automatically to "super-safe". I thought about pressing the button, but then I saw the word "beta" next to it. BETA?? WTF? REALLY??
All my EXTREMELY CRITICAL passwords are going to be updated with something that is in BETA?
I've been in software development for over 25 years. And that's just stupid. Test, Test, and RE-TEST an application that manages peop...Mostrar más

Love it
Windows usuario
I've used Dashlane for about 2 years. I was reluctant at first to put all my passwords in one place but now I can't imagine no having Dashlane. I can access my passwords from anywhere with the mobile app or browser. I've purchased the app as gifts too! Easy way to create unique, strong passwords for each site.

Was great before they started the disastrous web app
Windows usuario
Was really a big supporter of DashLane desktop in my IT community when there was justifiable worries over putting so much sensitive information into the hands of one bunch of software developers - the desktop app worked fine, and I trusted it. But the web app is a disaster. I take some time in navigating to the login bit of a web site, want to log in, have to log back into Dashlane, and then it takes me back to square one in getting to that original login site. An hour later, want to go to somewhere else? Repeat the whole damn process again. Every time that I punch in my master password there is the risk that some other software is skimming it., and with that disastrous UI you have to punch it in over and over again. And NO, I do not want m...Mostrar más

Ditto on this sucks now

Desktop version was OK if a little clunky at times. But now that it's decided you HAVE to use the web version, every time you close your browser you are logged off and have to log in again. True, you could choose to "stay logged in for 14 days" - as if having all you login credentials easily available to anyone who wants to hack into your desktop / laptop is a great security scheme. Also, it's really annoying having to have a whole window open at all times just to have Dashlane working. No more minimizing to your toolbar, etc. Now you have to either just have a whole separate instance of your browser running (and remember not to close it when you are cleaning up after web searches) - or always have one tab staring out at you like unfinished...Mostrar más
